In accordance with Article 5 of the “Regulation of budget Allocation from Central Government to Local Governments for Natural Disaster Rescue,” when the disaster preparation budget available is not sufficient to meet the expenditure of infrastructure reconstruction, the county or city governments may apply to the Executive Yuan for help. In such cases, the PCC will convene the relevant agencies from the Central Government to organize an ad hoc review committee to handle the review work, and the review results shall be reported to the Executive Yuan for approval.
